J.C. Midge Sports Car - Tax Exempt SOLD (1969) | | | Reluctant sale due to ill health:-
The J. C. Midge is a kit car (or rather a "plan and pattern" car) designed by John Cowperthwaite. It is based on a 1969 Triumph Herald chassis, engine (13/60) and gearbox. It is designed to be a replica of a 1930s MG Midget and is finished in British Racing Green. It has 13" wire wheels, a John Cowperthwaite soft top and grill and is fitted with a heater. It is tax exempt and the engine is in very good condition, not using oil or water and is a first time starter. It runs fine on unleaded petrol and is very economical. It is MOTd till April 2012 and the registered mileage is 3284. It has always been kept in a garage. All the plans are included to construct fresh panels, in case of damage to the vehicle - or build another one! It's kerb weight is about 680KG.
