This car has been the subject of a complete body off two year restoration finished in april 2012.
Replacement body shell and new panels used. All interior and mechanical parts are either new or reconditioned .
New Chrome work.Complete engine rebuild.Unleaded conversion and uprated to 150BHP. Gearbox and overdrive unit rebuild,reinforced chassis ,replacement refurbished wheels, stainless steel exhaust,New Mota lita wooden steering wheel. New softtop plus hood frame. tonnoue cover. seats ,carpets, door cards,Virtually everything replaced. Upgrades inc chassis stiffening kit, tele shocks, brakes upgraded, bosche fuel pump ,oil filter conversion,later 16inch multi blade fan cooling upgrade. New radiator, braided brake hoses throughout ,Bosch electronic ignition, etc etc, too much to list here. Invoices and bills in the history file for Parts alone totaling in excess of £10,000. Photographic record of restoration plus itemised inventory of all work undertaken and all parts used and replaced.Two years labour spent on this project which has incorporated some sensible and practical upgrades.
