| | | Click here for more info / photos | By the late 1950's the big 500cc 'thumpers' had been eclipsed in trials by small lightweight low capacity machines. Triumph were easily able to adapt their Tiger Cub into a successful machine, both for the works team and for the many privateers wanting them, as the basic machine had all the right attributes.
This is a 1962 matching numbers example whose odometer displays a remarkable 139 miles. The motorcycle is a "Works Replica", finished in the traditional silver and red. The bike was originally sold on the 7th of April 1962 to John Brittan Motorcyles of Bloxham Staffordshire. The bike is accompanied by the original and current log books as well as a number of invoices and MOT certificates which help to validate the extraordinary mileage. This stunning example is in immaculate condition and is perfectly suited to use at historic motor racing events (such as Goodwood Revival or Le Mans Classic).
