This a lovely little A7 Special designed by Jim Shaw and sold by Les Mongomery from his specials emporium Super Accessories in Bromley, Kent between 1960 and 1962.
It has an all aluminium body with aluminium cycle wings and is fitted with a modified two bearing engine.
It came to us as an almost complete project, it was built by a retired British Airways aircraft engineer. The quality of the build is excellent. We will complete it and put it through an MOT.
It has a current V5 Registration Document.
We have just stripped and inspected the engine and it runs beautifully. All that's left to do is source some seats, fit the Lucas D rear lamps and fit number plates before we send her off for an MOT.
