IMMACULATE 'SUPERCHARGED' MGB ROADSTER For Sale (1966)
This truly outstanding supercharged MGB was the subject of a complete rebuild. This MG was totally restored using a Heritage body shell and since it's completion has covered less than 15,000 miles. On delivery the Heritage shell was prepared and painted in MG Blue Royal. The rear axle was fully stripped, checked, cleaned and re-painted prior to fitting to the car with new road springs and Koni telescopic rear shock absorbers. The gearbox and overdrive were also fully stripped, checked, refurbished and cleaned prior to fitting with a new clutch and a completely re-conditioned engine. Brakes and clutch master cylinders, all hydraulic lines and pipes were renewed as were the oil cooler pipes, radiator and hoses, wiring loom and all associated components. Upgraded QI lights were also fitted along with all new chrome. A completely new interior trim with upgraded black leather seats were fitted and the windsreen re-furbished plus new quarter lights fitted. A new duck hood and tonneau were trimmed and fitted and the interior then finished off with a walnut dash and door cappings. In the autumn of 2005, a Moss supercharger was then also fitted and at the same time the cylinder head was converted to run on unleaded fuel. Therefore in view of the much increased performance a more powerful servo and EBC special grooved brake discs with Green Stuff pads were also fitted. The whole car has been fully 'Waxoyl' protected and has had a recent full service. This extremely fast MGB has therefore been rebuilt to the highest of standards and the condition throughout is exceptional as would be expected. The attractive MG registration is included with the car along with a comprehensive history file, manuals, etc. The car is MOT tested until September 2012 and is at present taxed (free Road Tax) until February 2013.
