A very good example of an early B in eye catching metallic blue.
Not concours but very close to condition 1, this car has history back to 97 and had restoration work in the 90's including a repaint.
The body is solid and rust free and the paint still sparkles with no evidence of rust or bubbling,only some small marks and touched in stone chips which reveal on close inspection. The Hood is good with no rips and clear windows and there is also a tonneau cover. The powdercoated silver wire wheels are in excellent condition.
The interior is very good with seats and carpets in unworn clean condition and a body painted dash, an aftermarket Moto-Lita steering wheel sets the whole thing of tastfully.
The engine runs on normal unleaded is rattle free, uses no oil and pulls strongly. The radiator was replaced last year and the coolant hoses are also very recent, there are no cooling issues whatsoever. A single 12 volt battery replaces the twin six volt set up with the original generator retained - the control box is a recent replacement.
The gears change smoothly on the non OD box with syncro still effective on the top three gears.
Roadholding is well up to B standard aided by fully functioning shocks and new Dunlop Sport radials.
A much cherished car which lives under covers in a dehumidified garage she is ready for a new owner to enjoy.
Oh She is MOT'd untill July by the way and the only advisory last time was that the tryes were perished! Now replaced all round.
