Finished in the iconic powder blue and orange (technically Zenith Blue and Tangerine!) of the original Gulf sponsored GT40's which raced with great success in the late 1960's, This is a Tornado TS40 based replica (one of the best manufacturers) built and owned by the ex chairman of the GT40 Enthusiasts Club over a 4 year period.
There are some poorly executed examples of these cars around. This is a well known car, arguably one of the best sorted GT40 replicas, owned by an expert and currently maintained to a high standard by Frank Catt and Spirit Automotive. The car is suitable for both road and track use and has a current MOT valid until 2013.
