Minerva AC (30HP) Open Tourer with Sleeve Engine For Sale (1925)Big Minerva with a 5300 cc 6 cylinder sleeve engine. These automotive jewels are very rare and seldom for sale. Minervas were luxery cars and known as the Belgian Rolls Royce. Before WW1 they were imported into Britain by C.S.Rolls(!). This Minerva was build in 1925 and has very powerful vacuum assisted brakes. Despite her long wheelbase she is a easy car to drive. The present open tourer body was fitted by the Edmund Metal Works of Plymouth in the sixties. It is the second body on this Minerva, and gives her a very sporty look. She is a matching numbers car. This Minerva is a very reliable car and made a lot of grand tours in Europe (to Vienna, Geneva, Nice) on her own wheels. Minervas are beautiful constructed, and this car is no exception. This Minerva is always very well maintained by her present owner.
