Engine:- lightened and balanced,66 crankcase,long crank,S spec barrels and pistons.
Solex cams,twin 40 triple webers, SSI, Dansk exhaust, with
rebuilt 915 box.
Body :- T Lightweight non sunroof coupe,RS interior with Cobra FIA seats,Konis, Turbo tie rods, Polybushed, lowered, Momo wheel, short shift kit. 6 x 15 fuchs.
I was in California in late 2007 and went to Rgruppe run and my attention was drawn to the sound of this car. The car had an older restoration.It had the blue Californian numberplate which checked out,that it spend its whole life in California.
I shipped it in a container and had 911 Classic do the necessary restoration. the car was repainted @ £4k,and have photo record to show how solid the floors are & gearbox was rebuilt at a cost of £3k.
This car has a special 2.4 engine built up using a 1966 aluminum crankcase longcrank, solex cams, lightened and balanced, S barrels and pistons, ported S heads, twin triple weber 40's, K&N's, SSI's& Dansk exhaust.
I have history from 1999 to date and receipts for $15/20k from OTTO's in CA, Dutch Treat porsche service,Performance products etc.for engine and bodywork etc.This is a well looked after car see attached paperwork.
Since 2012 it has New Lightweight Pro Monaco FIA seats, Momo wheel, New RS carpets,short shift kit new linkages, refurbished 6x 15 Flat Fuch's with 195x60 x15 tyres, on the suspension it is lowered Polybushed, konis, turbo tie rods @ £2.5k and handles beautifully. It is to S spec, brakes, front spoiler etc, it is the best Porsche I ever owned.

I have driven and owned many Porsches and this car puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it.
It is very reliable and I used it as my daily driver for 5 months earlier last year, whilst waiting for my new everyday car.
It is dry stored in a insulated & dehumified garage. I don't really want to sell it, but I just have had a 2.7 RS M471 Clone built by David Broughton,and will need additional storage.
The 72 911's 2.4 are considered the best year of the Pre impact cars, this is a very useable, enjoyable,an investment.
