Toyota Supra (MA70) 3.0 litre non-turbo For Sale (1986)
Very straight and very nice 'on the button' MA70 Supra with rare duo tone paint scheme. MOT and tax run to the end of August, the auto box is smooth and the overdrive works perfectly. Showing mileage of 100,264, whilst the condition of the car implies accuracy, there is no documentary evidence to verify.
The car drives beautifully and makes a great sound! - the power delivery is just guaranteed to make you smile! The engine is like pouring cream with excellent oil pressure and the temperature guage sits just short of the middle. There is cruise control which also works perfectly. The car has been recently serviced and is shod with 4 good quality tyres with loads of tread.
There is some slight and non-serious surface corrosion in both rear wheel arches, one of which is shown in the pictures. This was on my imminent to do list as it should be tackled sooner rather than later, unfortunately a change of personal circumstance means the car must be sold instead.
There is some worn paint work on the front bumper as shown in the picture. The heater works - and works well, though it doesn't respond to the temperature control on the dash. This is a typical fickle snag with 80s Supras. Lastly, the radio powers up but selects no stations, which implies an aerial snag.
This is a great, eminently usable car which I had plans for - now sadly thwarted. I really hope a Supra nut snaps it up and gives it the good home it deserves.
