I am selling this car for the widow of a friend it is part of a collection and will be sold as seen without warranty.
Restored four years ago at a cost in excess of £20,000 bare metal up restoration, all panels are imported from the states and as such corrosion free to start with. American export bonnet is fitted, a spare uk bonnet finished to the same colour as the car will be included in the sale.
New Mini Lite wheels & tyres, new discs, callipers, pads, servo, brake pipes, shock absorbers and stainless exhaust.
Re-built diff, gearbox, prop shafts, torque converter, all suspension bushes replaced with nylon bushes. All steering joints replaced.
Engine completely re-built new mains, big ends, cam and followers’ high pressure oil pump etc.
Rocker covers and inlet manifold sprayed to a chrome effect finish.
New power steering hose’s and pump overhauled, engine and radiator hose’s replaced, export grille fitted.
Every panel has been removed from the car and replaced with rust free panels, these in turn were stripped, blasted, etch primed, and then 2 pack primed, ready for colour.
The car is finished in Candy Red to SHOW standard. Professional low bake re spray.
New headlamps, and side lamps, front and rear.
All new chrome, bumpers, and body trims etc, it’s badged as an “S” because my friend liked it that way!
Boot lid has the rare fitting for mounting the spare wheel on top.
New carpets, door cards, etc, all leather trim and seats fully restored,
Moto Lita wood rim steering wheel, full webastow sunroof, stereo CD & tape player, immobiliser.
Under sealed and Waxoyled, only used on dry day’s.
