Indian Four Cylinder Motorcycle SOLD (1935) | | |
| | I have owned this beautiful old motorcycle for the last 10 years,and as you can see by the photo's it has not yet left the workbench, But due to ill health ,I no longer have the time or inclination to finish it's full restoration, so I am selling it as a unfinished project, that is 99% complete and about 95% finished, with just a very small amount of work to do,such as wiring up the lights and horn etc.
FULL engine and gearbox rebuild including new clutch etc,so the bike runs sweet with good oil pressure.
Wheels rebuilt with stainless spokes and new genuine 'Indian' tyres fitted.
All original parts / spares come with the bike.

Answers to some of the questions already asked...
The bike has not been recently imported from the States , but has been in England ALL it's life and was first registered in July 1935 , it comes with it's original number and I have the V5C in my name.
The engine and frame are matching numbers.
The tin ware currently on the bike (Tanks, both mudguards and Chain guard)are exact replicas that I have had chromed to give the bike some extra 'Bling' that the later Indians have (afterall it is my bike, so I can do what I like to it)
But for you purists, ALL the original tin ware is in good condition and is painted gloss black with hand painted gold coach lining, these are boxed up for safe storage along with other items that are in their original condition, .... These all come with the bike.

Included... re bore, 4x new pistons/rings, All new valves,
springs and guides, Reground and cross drilled crank, Lightened and balanced fly wheel as specified my Max Bubeck (America's Indian Guru),New timing gears,New white metal bearings,Rebuilt oil pump.Plus carb rebuilt with new jets and float.
GEARBOX REBUILD
All new gears , shafts Bushes, Plus new clutch and thrust bearing.
So not only does this bike look good, it runs good and will be reliable and capable of being rode every day and hard if you so wish, once run in (Zero miles since rebuild ,(just bench tested)
