This beautiful car was purchased on 1st August 1990 from R. C. Edmonson Ltd of Fakenham, Norfolk and lived with its lady owner in Aylsham, Norfolk until June 2011, when the registered keeper changed, however the car remained in Norfolk.
The original owner had the car serviced every year and there is a full service record. There are also MOT's from 1994 through to 2008 and then a further one in 2011 - however, between these MOT's there has only been 4,800 miles covered. It also comes with two keys and a leather Ford Cars folder containing all the original manufacturer's manuals.

This is a special edition vehicle which came in blue and this lovely flambeau red. It has a five speed gearbox, manual sunroof, electric front windows, rear wash/wipe, rear spoiler and colour coded bumpers and mirrors. There are four Firestone tyres all in excellent condition and the original wheel trims.
The engine runs very sweetly and is very lively for a 1.3. The bodywork is in amazing condition for a 21 year old car, although there is some slight surface rust on both rear wheel arches, but nothing of any significance.
The interior is just like new and I dont think the rear seat has ever been sat in.
The car benefits from being in a very low road tax bracket, is very cheap to insure and with the five speed gearbox its extremely economical.
This vehicle must be an appreciating classic car and is probably one of the best MkIV Escorts on the road today.
