Ford Escort Auto Estate 1.4L MkIII For Sale (1989)
Very very clean Mk 4 Escort Estate in Blue - just 28k miles validated via MOT's. Was the typical old lady story. Brought it from a guy locally who wanted to do it up but it's too smart to do so, I wanted it for my dogs but again, it's too nice to use as a dog car. It's insured on classic car insurance at £160 per annum. There are a couple of minor rust bubles on the drivers door, which do not show in a photo and a small paint imperfection on the rear lid (not rust) it may polish out with the right polish. There is also a minor supermarket dent on the rear wing. Apart from that, it really is immaculate for a 23 year old car. I've just had a new exhaust fitted. Everything works and the car is great - never been smoked in either. No splits in the dashboard, battery holder under the bonnet has been replaced as have the rear springs. It's a great car and I welcome any inspection. Has the original sound system with 4 speakers too!
