Engine and transmission
Rebuilt 2.5 litre block with modified cam, Reconditioned unleaded. 5000miles since rebuild. Reconditioned gear box and recent OD replacement, differential and prop shaft. Up rated radiator. 1 ¾ “ SU Carbs. Stainless steel 6 port manifold and stainless twin exhaust pipes. Overdrive unit replaced in 2011.
Suspension and braking
Complete rebuild on half shafts. Modified leaf spring. Uprated brakes and braded hoses/ servo assisted. Supa-slot wheels. Modified and recon steering rack and aluminium clamps modified. Polyurethane bushes. Reconditioned steering rack.Uprated coil springs and Koni dampers and anti roll bar links
Electrical upgrades
Clarion sound system and pioneer speakers. Spot lamps voltage/ wattage
Electronic ignition and flame thrower. Upgraded new starter motor. New battery. Electric Kenlowe fan
2000 restoration Bodywork panels & trim
Aluminium side panels and transmission tunnel and dashboard with modified dial layouts. Wax oiled. Stainless cheque plate flooring. Le mans racing front end. Mota-lita steering wheel. New Sills, floor pans. Corbeau sport bucket seats and 3 point harness. Roll bar. Mohair hood and Mohair cover. Rear stainless steel luggage rack.
Condition: The car has been garaged throughout the time I have owned the vehicle, however it is showing signs of wear and tear on the paint work and some trim. Some of the panels do need attention however the car is solid and structurally sound. The front fibre glass bonnet has a crack in the gel coat near the badge. I have priced the car to reflect that it requires some TLC, though still a great looking car. I am not in any rush to sell though will except a serious offer. If the car does not sell I will complete any of the repairs and works necessary and will re-advertise at a later date.
