Mini - '64 1293cc featured in Miniworld For Sale (1964)
Winner of the 2003 Italian Job charity race, as featured in MINIWORLD. New Rover Sportspack shell, + Doors and Bonnet. All supplied and painted by Paul Ratcliffe who rebuilt the MiniWorld Cooper. The original engine was sent off to Rob walker Engineering. Exchange 1293cc, Powemax pistons, balanced bottom end. Centre Main Strap, all new bearings. Matched with nice head (all BMC Green) . Re-con gearbox etc. Maniflow 1 7/8" full system with LCB. (Advice on engine, box etc at the time from AC Dodd) Cam- Kent 266, MiniSpares two-core super radiator, new SU HIFF 44 from Burlen etc. Shell converted back to non-sportspack wings up front. Interior from the Mk1 - (looks like Mk2 to me, black vinyl) Mk1 light conversion on the back and new lights from MiniSpares. Group 2 arches, all new chrome and lights. 2 New Rover sub frames ? re-painted, proper hi-Lo's. MiniSpares 4 pots. Braided hoses all round. New Radius arms complete with spacered drums. Tech-Del Minilights. Falken 165's polly bushes, 1.5 neg front arms. Heavy duty tie bars (adjustable) rear tracking brackets adjustable etc. Proper twin tanks. Smiths centre clocks refurbished by Speedy cables. Original Minilites and spare. Boot lid is rusty, the only part of the car that lets it down. Wasn't replaced during refurbishment because replicas weren't in production at the time. £6k or offers. Would like to sell to an enthusiast. Will email pictures on request.
