1937 Phantom III Close-Coupled Touring Limousine with coachwork by Rippon Brothers. Featured in Country Life in 1938 and in Laurence Daltons book on Rolls Royce. This fantastic car is second to none in luxury, performance and speed. Being fitted with a high ratio back axle for high speed touring. Her extras, all fitted from new, are beyond believe. Being an electric division, electric rear sunroof for the passengers, a glass front sunroof to the drivers compartment, fitted luggage, cocktail cabinet, writing bureau and secretaries seat. Having spent over 30 years in Iraq being regularly used firstly by the Monarchy and then the ruling party, before returning to the UK in 1979. Whereas she then underwent a total chassis up restoration at the cost of approx £50,000. Then subsequently was on show for a time at the RREC museum. Then in 2002 a further £35,000 was spent on a total mechanical and engine rebuild. Full photographic evidence of all work carried out. Just undergone a full service through our own workshops. Finished in Royal Garnet with lush Mushroom leather interior and Walnut fittings. Extensive history file and documentation available. A truly magnificent machine for the gentleman that wants the absolute ultimate.
