Colin proprietor of the “finishing touch” has over 30 years experience of working in the paintwork refinishing trade having owned and restored many of his own & customers classic cars and motorcycles including Rudge Dayton Brough superiors Vincent's SS100 etc, finishing touch classic motorcycle paintwork specialists have been established leaders specialising in classic, vintage and modern motorcycle paintwork since 1988. The finishing touch has built up an enviable reputation as specialists in concourse standard vintage, classic, and modern motorcycle paintwork. Examples of our high quality work have graced numerous concourse-winning machines during the past years, the Finishing touch have achieved many accolades including the 2005 classic bike of the year award winner(Norton dominator), and was also runner up in 2010!with a superb BSA Shooting Star The Finishing Touch has had many of our finished bikes featured in motorcycle magazine articles including ( front cover & centre page spread of classic motorcycle magazine with a 1915 Indian bv twin) and has completed work for motorcycle museums. Colin was also one of the founder members of the Battlesbridge Motorcycle museum in Essex.

What can we do
Tank repairs, sandblasting, chroming, colour matching, lining, transfer fixing, wheel`s painted, lined etc. etc. .All parts are blasted back to bare metal to remove old paint and rust, any necessary repairs are then carried out (rust, dents, pitting etc.) , all parts are acid etch primed, then grey primed, painted, lacquered and hand finished.

We can get all colours matched to your original paintwork, and we have many original colours in stock for vintage to modern motorcycles.
