This has been mine for 20 mths and it is now time to move on. It was imported from Italy in 2001 and registered in the UK. It is left-hand-drive with a coloumn gear change. It is currently taxed and Mot'd.
It was restored over a period of time prior to my purchase.
The engine has been completely rebuilt and runs very sweetly with no leaks. The gearbox is fine but a swift change into second sometimes beats the synchro. It has had a recent new battery and starter motor. The wipers have been overhauled (sounds simple - but it isn't.)
If you were minded I feel confident you could drive this back to Italy with no forseeable problems. It has been on a couple of UK rallies covering up to 200 miles in a day.
Now the bad points. The seat covers, cover seats in need of covering. The chrome is tired and would benifit from renewing.
