This delightful and purposefull J2 was supplied to West Sussex Constabulary in 1933 and has fascinating history of its return to the factory for improvement in 1934. I have recovered its origional PO [police officer]. The caR WAs built as a trials special by well known MG exponant, John Beavan, many years ago, and he won many events with it. It is featured on the front cover of the Octagon magazine.It stayed unused in a collection for 20 odd years when I bought it. I stripped and rebuilt it with 16" wheels, special diff with a rebuilt XPAG with TF cam, 2 1" 1/2 SUs,leather seat and tonneau, specially made period instruments, new rear springs, shocks, and much more. The car is elligible for many different types of MG competition and is a fabulous and unique sporting Special, proffesional designed and built. Gorgeous!
