I have had lots of people asking what sort of offer would be accepted
To be honest with you £3500 would buy it and you won't be disappointed
I realise that times are tight but it's the same the whole world over.
I searched high and low when I was looking to buy a second Discovery and it took me a long time to find it. It was initially bought for the wife to use but as she only works 4 days a week and parks in the carpark at her work she found it a lot easier to slot in her little Fiat Panda, so there you go, you can't please everyone....................
This has a Full MOT till March 2014........................

We've all read all the adverts that go along the lines : the Interior is in lovely condition , but does have the normal Land Rover issues like the roof lining needs attention and there are a few marks on the door cards and Oh! and the dog chewed the gear stick but apart from that it's OK.........!!!!!............................
Well there is none of that with this one !.................

It is below average mileage having covered 133,548 miles in its 15 year life, ( thats just over 8500 miles a year )
Mechanically this vehicle is now as good as you will get having had everything checked over and anything that was suspect or needed replacing has been replaced........In it's present condition it should give many more years of trouble free motoring.

I have another Discovery and a Fourtrak which gets used most days, this one has done very little in the last couple of year so might as well go to a good home.
I'm not going to give it away as good Disco's are getting hard to find...............................................
There are more rotten Disco's out there than there are good ones, you just have to see how many are for sale as spares or repair...........................................
This one has plenty of waxoyl on the chassis to protect it........................................................
here's a list of what's been done
exhaust is nearly new.....................................
rear arches are perfect...................................
rear bumper is in good condition and also rear floor is sound.......................................................
dash board has no cracks
windscreen has no cracks or chips
Front Swivels are perfect
Viscous Fan bearing replaced
Thermostat housing replaced complete with new thermostat
P gasket behind water pump replaced
New water pump fitted
Cam belt, idler bearing and tensioner replaced @ 130,000
New Track Rod ends
New drag link ends
New set of Glow plugs
Engine oil and Filters changed
No expense spared, it's 100% reliable
This is one of the last of the much sought after 300 tdi Discovery's, these have an almost cult following now due to the fact they are straight forward to service and easy to repair with plenty of parts available making ownership more affordable and easy to live with. This one especially as it has NO Air Con, NO ABS Brakes, NO Airbags to go wrong and cost you a fortune when it comes to the MOT. No engine management system that will shut down and go into limp mode, why would you want all that. It's all unnecessary................................................
Mot's now require Engine Managenent Light, SRS light and Air Bag warning light to go off in the correct sequence as soon as the vehicle is started otherwise it's an MOT failure. No worries there then as this one beats the system!...................................................
If you know about Land Rovers then you will know that the 300 tdi is the most reliable engine that Land Rover ever produced and it benefits from NOT having a computerised electronic engine management system in place and having only covered an average of 8,500 miles a year this vehicle should keep going for another 15 years if you look after it.....They are not hard to work on, Oil and Filter changes on a regular basis normally to the trick..........
This Vehicle comes with a set of Spare keys, handbook, all old MOT certificates to prove the mileage, locking wheel nuts, a jack, a wheelbrace, a rear load cover and a Full Service History............................................
Buy with confidence as they don't come around like this very often......I would have no hesitation in jumping in this vehicle and driving it from one end of the country to the other, that's how good it is.
You'll buy a clean 1994 one on ebay for this money and pay a lot more for a 1996 one from Simmonites so no it's not overpriced ................................................
