A beautiful & highly desirable Drop head Coupe by Park Ward. The car was under long term English ownership used for occasional tours & rallies for many many years. Four years ago it was purchased by a Spanish collector who scarcely used the car during his tenure. We collected the car in Madrid & transported it back to the UK. Prior to purchasing it we conducted a long test drive in the heat of the Spanish Plains. The car never once got hot & drove beautifully with a smooth silent powerful engine.
The paintwork is finished in a deep blue & putty two tone combination with the paint being in good presentable condition. A blue Double Duck roof completes the ensemble along with a matching hood bag & blue carpets.
To the interior is excellent leather in a stone/cream colour extending to the door cars as well as all seating surfaces. The woodwork has all been removed & refinished. The car reputedly had a vast amount of money spent on it by the previous owner although there is little documentary evidence with the car. It sports the usual post restoration features such as a modern full flow oil filter etc. There are also some post restoration RREC bulletins with pictures of the car being shown & winning "best in class" prior to its sojourn in Spain. A complete set of MOT's show the car to have covered less then 1000 miles per year during the last three decades.
To Sum up: A lovely rakish Derby by a desirable coach builder in superb running condition ready for extended use. Viewings are by appointment.
