E30 325i Sport SOLD (1991) | | |
| | A unique opportunity to acquire an unabused and totally standard E30 BMW 325i Sport in collectible condition.
This car took me 18 months to source back in 2008 & I have owned this car for 4 years, driven it less than 1000
miles and due to emigration I need to release this car from my collection.
HISTORY FILE
This BMW 325i Sport was first registered on 07/02/1991 and supplied new as a UK demo car by Barons BMW of Farnborough.
The car has a FULL BMW Service History and is due to be serviced before sale at 83k miles.
There are MOT certificates along with the original owners handbook and BMW manual present in the inch thick history file
along with all receipts for work carried out on the car.
The BMW 325i Sport has had two owners, I'm the third but not stated on the V5 as the car was exported in 2008. The V5 is still in place and the car also still retains its original Barons BMW dealership plates. The last owner was the editor of a BMW car Magazine and this car was featured a number of times, a copy of which are included as part of the cars history.
EQUIPMENT
Original UK supplied car, Full Black recaro leather in perfect condition and still retains a leather smell. No cracks, rips or tears and in my opinion the rear seats have never had a rear placed on them. Multi function computer, Electric windows, Electric mirrors, 15" BBS Alloy wheels, Fog lights, PAS, Alarm, Headlight wipers, Central locking Trip computer, FULL Tool kit, Spare alloy wheel, Immobilizer alarm, 2 x Sets of Keys + original owners manual + booklets.
EXTERIOR
This E30 325i Sport is finished in a rare shade of Sterling silver paintwork which looks great and gives the car a modern but cult look.
The paintwork is in superb condition and speaks for itself as you can see in from the pictures.
The bonnet was subject to a bare metal respray by L+C BMW and as a result the usual E30 stone chips cannot now be found on the front end.
All of the trim including smaller details such as the badges, door handles and grill along with the window seals are in superb condition retaining their colour. The underside was professionally undersealed in 2008 ensuring all loose debris etc was removed and as a result this car has NO RUST whatsoever, that covers the rear arches, inner arches, scuttle panel etc. The M Tech body kit is all original and is without blemish.
INTERIOR
When you step into the this E30 325i Sport the first thing you think is that BMW were spot on with this cars design.
I can't help but smile every time I get into and it and say to myself Wow nice car. Once seated in the figure hugging leather recaros you quickly become familiar with the M-technic steering wheel connecting you to one of the greatest driving cars of all time.
The BMW black leather sports seats are in superb condition with no cracks or tears, as stated the rear seats are un-used and
all leather has been conditioned and properly maintained. The grey carpets are spotless throughout having been fully protected
by the original grey BMW overmats. The dashboard is in great condition with no fading or scratches and all the switch work
operates as it should. Open the boot lid and you will find a clean grey carpet, under which is a spare alloy wheel and tyre, There is also a FULL BMW tool kit present.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The E30 325i Sport has been well maintained over the years with a thorough and regular service history, all but one being in BMW main dealers.
The engine runs well and fires up with the usual 6 cylinder silkiness. The five speed manual gearbox pulls through the gears with precision and accuracy, maintaining the sporty feel and will never fail to bring a smile.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
This car comes with the original BMW BBS or basketweave alloys that are in as new condition having been professionally refurbished by the previous owner. There are 4 centre caps and one spare cap located in the boot again all of which are in as new condition.
The tyres are four Michelin Sports, they have had approximately 1,000 miles of use so again they have several thousand miles or years left on them. The car does have a 5th spare wheel which is also an original BBS alloy and does not appear to have been used to date..
This car is priced to reflect all of the above and is a genuine opportunity to acquire a well known classic which is progressively appreciating with age.
