An excellent example of a 1967 racing green TR4A IRS with overdrive, lovely walnut dash, wire wheels and hood cover.
I first saw this car advertised in April 2011. When I spoke to the seller he described an extensive restoration he had recently carried out. However he had just sold the car to an established dealer from whom I bought it in the same month.
While it has some minor imperfections it has been described to me on a number of occassions as mechanically excellent. My own garage who recently took it through its MOT and have extensive experience of classic cars were also very positive about it, particlarly when they looked underneath.
You will see from the photos what a nice example this car is both inside and out and underneath. More close up photos are available on request.
It looks and sounds superb and I have been running it in, as advised before I bought it, for a little under 1000 miles.
Whilst the dealer did not collect receipts or photos from the restoration, a close inspection quickly reveals the quality of the work undertaken. I have spoken to the company which carried out the re-spray and am waiting for them to provide details of the work they undertook.
The car is taxed and recently passed its MOT which expires in May 2013.
