The classic 1950's sports car look For Sale (1964)
Based upon a 1300cc Mk III Triumph Spitfire and built I am told by a Gentry expert, to a very high standard of workmanship. The twin carb engine, chassis, suspension, steering etc are all Spitfire. There is a list showing the origin of other parts in the build such as radiator, headlights etc and a wiring diagram. The hood and side screens are undamaged as is the tonneau cover. The only thing not working is the fuel gauge but there is a hand crafted dip stick that works fine and calibrated to one inch per gallon. This car was bought by my wife who now says after just six short local journeys that she can't get used to the long bonnet. Starts, runs and drives fine and of course it has the famous Triumph tight turning circle. MOT till September and the road Tax is free, very satisfying to walk from the post office with a free tax disc. It carries what I believe to be it's original Spitfire reg plate and is suffixed B for 1964.
