Land Rover 109 Series III/3 Safari Station Wagon For Sale (1980)
Very Original 12 Seater in fantastic condition. Complete black vinyl trim and safari headlining in great condition. The marine blue paint work is almost original, with a few scuffs and a patina of past adventure. A new door top has meant that one small panel has had a coat of paint, as has a little of the steel work. Petrol engined, It sounds fantastic, whilst still achieving around 30Mpg on motorway runs, assisted by factory fitted Fairey free wheeling hubs. The gearbox is perfect, all syncro's working fine, with only 78,000 miles on the clock. Enormous fun, and easy to drive. The chassis is original to the vehicle and has been fitted with one new outrigger and a rear cross member. The bulkhead has had no welding around the top corners or door pillars, despite it's age!, it is near immaculate. The vehicle is LEZ compliment meaning it can still be used in London, unlike many Land Rovers Buyer has a choice of wheels and tyres with loads of tread. Sold fully serviced with a Fresh years MOT and 6 months tax. I'll be sad to see it go, but my fiancee has told me we don't need two station wagons!
