6 Wheel Range Rover For Sale (1973)The vehicle has been parked in a garage for the past 10 years. The first 3 photos are before it was parked. The last 3 photos are recent, taken over a month ago while it was being taken for some repair. A brief history and description of the jeep is as follows: the original engine was a 3.8L petrol one but as the consumption was high, it was replaced by a more economic 4L diesel one, manufactured by Perkins. The car is 4 wheel drive (2 front axels). It was made by Range Rover and soon after taken to a british company called Car-Michael, specilized in modifying Range Rovers. This jeep was a special edition that came originaly with 3 axels. It weighs about 2 tons. It can seat up to 8 people. The jeep is currently in Portugal and is in need of repairs (the clutch, brakes, new battery, oil change, among other things). At the moment it is not in running order.
The vehicle has a long and interesting history to it, from being owned by a Lord (its first owner, back in 1973) who used to use it for hunting rabbits and pheasants in the north of Wales (behind the drivers seat was a weapons rack and a mini bar for preparing cocktails) to being driven between England and Portugal and other journeys of the kind. Over the years many attempts have been made to break into it but no serious damage was ever done to it.
