Mini Paul Smith LE, excellent condiition For Sale (1998)
I'm reluctantly selling my Mini Paul Smith LE, I need a bigger car due to me getting old...

The car has all the original features - the only thing 'modded' is the new CD player with i-pod input. The only thing missing is the original branded jack bag.
It has 42000 miles, and has been serviced regularly. Servicing was done at the dealer until the warranty ran out, after that I did it myself.
Car is in superb condition. Engine + gearbox in perfect working order (the common synchro problem was fixed under warranty years ago). Passed its MoT with no warnings last September, and has barely been driven since. Taxed until September.
Bodywork is in absolute *showroom* condition, as it was fully restored 2 years ago so it could star in our wedding. It has only done ~1000 miles since. No rust anywhere, including A-panels, sills, around windscreens...
The car has lots of service history - all MoT certificates going back to 2001. Recent jobs that have been done in the last couple of years include new front suspension cones (still bedding in, car is still pointing a little upwards!), new front discs & pads.
If I was being super-critical, the only thing I would flag would be a small patch of leather on the back seat that's started to come away from where it joins the seat-belt clicker, and it could maybe use a new head-lining. Other than that the car looks and drives magnificent.
One small note - I bought the car from new in 1998 from a garage that pre-registered it. I transferred ownership to a mate in 2006 for a couple of years when I lived in the USA so he could service it, then transferred it back to me when I returned in 2008. So, if you HPI it you will see 4 registered owners, though really it's just been me that's owned it. I still have old paperwork showing this.
I'm looking for someone who will look after and enjoy this car the way I have, so no dealers or time-wasters please.
