MOT until May 2013. Taxed to end of September 2012
I can only describe the car as in reasonable condition, it looks good but has a couple of blisters starting to show on the wheel arches. They are not bad at the moment but will need dealing with in the next couple of years. It had some welding done last year for the MOT but went straight through this year without any advisories. The exhaust and tyres are good.
The headlights were replaced last year with new halogen lamps.
The interior is again in reasonable condition, the worst pieces of the interior are the electric window buttons, they work but look scruffy and a small piece of black plastic has chipped off where the handbrake touches the console.
I have a hard top for the car but its quite untidy, I don't use it and its just using up garage space. The soft top is dark blue and I think its ok but I dont use that either, the car only goes out in the dry weather. The frame to the soft top needs adjusting as its difficult to put down.
There are no over heating problems, the temperature remains stable even when sitting in traffic. The oil pressure is good, oil pressure gauge is fitted.
I have a comprehensive history file, Haynes manual and original owners manual to go with the car.
As I said at the start, this is a reasonable car, it looks good, sounds good and is nice to drive. I dont have the time or energy to use it any more and so it has to go.
