Triumph TR2 SOLD (1955) | | |
| | This is a 1955 TR2. It was totaly restored in 1988,but has been dry stored for past 12years. The car comes with some interesting history. The registration of the car is PKV373 which we found belonged to the Coventry ex works raceing team in Le Mans in 1955. We found that PKV 374,375 to376 acctually raced in Le Mans,so PKV 373 is the sister car to this group cars. We have Heritage Certificate to prove this history of this car. The car was completly rebuilt with body taken off the chassis. The chassis itself did not require any welding and only had surface rust which was cleaned off and repainted.
No expense spared. Loads of parts replaced when rebuilt.
