For sale is my Landrover Lightweight, she was built in 1980 and is a 24volt ex Radio Truck that served with the Worcester and Sherwood Forresters, she was cast in 1997, i have owned her for the past 11 years. She is complete and original, she has not been messed about with, all 24vlt wiring is still in place, she even has the signatures of her Army Drivers along the top of the windscreen panel!
She currently is showing just under 28000klms, i have every MOT and tax disc since she was cast, she has done only 11500klms which is about 7100miles since 1997 (15yrs) which is an average of 470 miles a year!
The Landrover comes complete with her full Military Record Book please note this is not a copy obtained from the REME or a museum but the original book, it is complete in its blue folder with dated hand written notes from day one of the landrovers service life, the Record Book even includes periodic inspection reports, the cast report and the original key tags, to have this is very rare.
The landrover has been garaged for the last 11 years and has never seen rain once, consequently she is rust free, she has been sympathetically restored which was completed a couple of years ago, there is a full photographic record of the restoration, the restoration included
Main bulkhead removed and refurbished, all bulkhead seals replaced
Vent Panel removal and refurbished
New engine genuine military recon unit bought from John Craddocks, still in its crate.
Reconditioned Gearbox

This has been a much loved but little used vehicle which has been a pleasure to own, she has never been offroaded or abused, she has always been garaged, her engine and running gear has covered less than 500miles so is like new, everything works as it should.
Not to be confused with the many abused and messed about examples out there, i am sure that there are very few lightweights as original as this around.
