| | Jaguar Mk2 3.8 Saloon Manual Overdrive,
This stunning car was purchased from Sherwood Restorations in Nottingham in
late 1999, and has only travelled approximately 10,000 since then.
It is in superb condition throughout and drives like a dream.
The car is finished in Jaguar Metallic Spruce Green, has narrow rear spats, and a louvre’d bonnet. The interior is furnished with immaculate cream leather upholstery, piped in green to match the body.
Further improvements since purchase, include a complete engine rebuild by V.S.E. of Llandrindod Wells, with a lead free conversion.
Other improvements by Vicarage Ltd. of Wolverhampton include, rack and pinion power steering, Coopercraft brakes, heavy duty anti-roll bar, Kenlowe fan, Motorlita steering wheel, rear seat belts, Magnatronic ignition and integrated wing mirrors.
Recent new items include a Radio/CD player, new radiator, and modern fuel pump.
In May this year the car underwent a further five figure refurbishment by Autoclassico of Bristol, including a full bare metal respray, re-chromed fittings, 6” Dayton chrome wheels, new Avon tyres and a new Bosh battery. All bills from 1997 onward are available.
This car is classified as A1 throughout by the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club and is surely one of the best currently on sale.
