Could be the best original unrestored example remaining SOLD (1961) | | |
| | Sunbeam Rapier series 3 convertible 1961 in its original grey and red colour scheme .A very attractive car this example must be the most original example in the country. All original panels,original soft top ect, no welding evident anywhere on the car.Four owners and 40,000 miles. A true genuine time warp car. The only non- original thing we can find is the paint on the bottom half which has been refinished to a high standard at some time in its life with no evidence of any filler, But hey it is 51 years old .This is not a restored example it is as near to the day it came off the production line as you will find anywhere and it would be very hard if not impossible to find another un-welded example like this with all its original panels.
