Landrover series 3 SOLD (1982) | | |
| | This is an extremely straight ex military series 3 ,it was released from service in 1997 so spent its first 15 years in the hands of the services, quiet a long time to be in service.
It has just had a fresh coat of military green paint with gloss black detailing to the rear cross member, front bumper and wheels.It has a brand new set of FIVE tyres fitted for the mot The chassis is totally sound with the rear cross member in unpatched first class order,it has all been undersealed, not to hide or cover imperfections or rot but to ensure the life of it is extended.Mechanically it is 100% with a spotlessley clean engine bay.The gearbox is sound with no graunching between changes and good synchro.
The canvas hood is without splits or rips and is perfectly waterproof.
The interior has a new set of three front seats fitted and the dashboard and switches are all complete and working, no holes cut into it.
The front wings have had new black chequer plate fitted and 90 mirrors have replaced the traditional wing fitted ones these are also new.
It has MOT untill May 2013 and road tax untill October 2012.
