MORRIS OXFORD MO Saloon SOLD (1952) | | |
| | | http://www.aceclassiccars.com | This wonderful Morris Oxford MO has been subject to a previous substantial restoration and comes with a selection of photographs showing this work.
The last registered owner has improved on this restoration over the last three years since buying the car from a well known classic car dealer in 2009 by having a substantial amount of the brightwork re-chromed, the front bench seat refurbished and fitting a new set of carpets. He also fitted a new fuel pump and a new coil.
The current MOT runs until July 2013 and from November this year the car becomes MOT exempt. The free Historic road tax runs until the end of June 2013.
The documentation that comes with the car includes the original buff Log Book from 1952, a selection of old road tax discs including some originals from the 1950's and nineteen previous MOT certificates dating back to 1976. The current mileage reading is 63501 and we have no reason to disbelieve it.
The car still retains it's original transferable registration number NLA179 and although this number has a value itself, we hope that the buyer retains the number on the car as to remove it would be a sacrilege.
