1968 Tax exempt MK3 Riley Elf ,with a genuine 67K miles. Tax'd and MOT'd until end Feb 2014.Cumberland Green with Old English White roof. The history includes the original paper registration document and handbook from when new and matches the chassis and engine numbers. It was professionally restored some years ago(all new bodywork from A panels forward),but remains unmolested and thus very close to the original specification, just as it left the factory. It was in dry storage after the restoration until 2010.
The correct 998cc engine with remote gear change is fitted. This has just been completely re built, painted in original colours and had the cylinder head converted for unleaded petrol . The engine is still running in,under 100 miles since built. The whole car has also had extensive recent refurbishment and partial re spraying after a long period of dry storage (too many parts to list, but details on request ). Interior is also very good with re connollised leather seats, new carpets and underlay, excellent wooden dash and solid bodywork throughout. There are a few blemishes here and there, as you would expect for a car of this age, and you may want to get the rear bumper re chromed in the future but all in all this is an excellent car you would be proud to take to shows or be seen driving in, just as it is.
