This 1972 Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior makes a great case for the traditional Alfa sports car. Completely restored to its original look, it also provides the perfect opportunity for the guy who always wanted to have a little Italian legend in perfect condition. And with prices suddenly on the move, these cars will not be getting any cheaper any time soon.
The red color is a great choice for any little racer, and the Alfa wears its original color well. This little Italian sports car comes with astonishing bodywork. Undercarriage is laser straight and the car is completely rust free. This Car is a real trailer queen and it would be a shame to not give it to the world, as these really are wonderful cars to drive. It certainly looks awesome and offers everyone who will own this car pure pleasure in the crowd of affordable classic cars. The bodywork is amazing so there are no structural issues, and fit and finish are great, almost perfect for an Italian classic. Details like interior, engine and trim are clearly A+ and original so you see, its more than just an charming car.
The GT´s big + is definitely the look. Just check engine bay, inside or the undercarriage and you ll find not even one old part or something that has not been redone. Inside we have twin buckets and a back bench, both are comfortable and supportive enough for sporting driving, and on top of that, both were recently completely redone with new upholstery. When you raise your eyes you ll have a look on the brand new headliner which was done perfectly. New carpets and door Panels helps for the perfect look and condition inside the car. Even weather stripes, windshield and back windows are new. Fuel pump, gas tank and gas lit were replaced as well. The car has a new exhaust, mirrors and trunk inside. So basically all on this Car were replaced or redone.
This car carries its numbers-matching 1290cc twin cam engine. It's rated at 95 horsepower, but remember that this is a car where the total package is far more than the sum of its parts. The Engine is completely redone and fires up with its first turn which was an unbelievable thing in that time. The Engine has 95HP and fuel is delivered from a strong Solex Carbs. it has a snarky exhaust note that vintage sports car fans will adore-you'll blip the throttle and hit a downshift just to hear it whenever you go through a tunnel. It runs extremely well, suggesting that this car has been properly looked-after its entire life. It provides a wonderfully entertaining driving experience that combines all the senses, which is exactly the point. Brakes are quite good given how light the car is, and the wheels and tires are in top condition as well.
