|Hi for sale is my 205 GTi, its a 1989 G reg 1.9 petrol, non-cat.|
I bought the car about 6 months ago with a bit of work needing doing to it, the intention was to store it for a few years and then sell it.
I have recently bought a house so unfortunatly it has to go to raise funds to decorate!
The car has mot till Dec and tax till Nov, it is showing 181k on the clock but it had a new engine 10k ago which had 75k on it.
i am the 4th or 5th owner, and the previous was an elderly lady who owned it for nearly 16 years. Her son who i bought the car off was the owner of a local garage, so has been well maintained.
The leather interior is extremely good for its age, looks brand new,
The paintwork is also in very good condition and gleams all round.
sunroof and non PAS model
Completely standard, apart from an immobilizer.
Undersealed, No rust.
In the last 6 months i have carried out some minor body work, had the front wings, and bonnet re-painted,
and i have receipts for the work i have carried out.
It has just had,
re-con head inc all seals etc,
Plugs, leads, dizzy and rotar arm,
front discs and pads,
new (second hand) front head lights,
new fog lights,
new SARD valve,
sun roof, rear 1/4 window and boot seals,
original Speedline alloys inc spare re-powdercoated in oe silver.
It runs well, no rough idle or cutting out problems these 205s seem to develop,
the car also comes with a spare set of yellow covered head lamps, phase 2 tail lights, clear indicators, various spare locks, dizzy cap, steering wheel (needs a re-trim) indicator stalk, bonnet, drivers door (both need re-painting), and a second hand sump.
the bad bits on the car are
sump has surface rust, i have fitted an under-tray to protect it, and have a new sump, but not fitted it yet,
one of the interior trims for the wing mirror has broken, head unit is rubbish and could do with replacing.
