Ford Capri 1600GT MK1 Facelift SOLD (1973) | | |
| | For sale is my 1973 Ford 1600GT Mk1 Facelift in Daytona Yellow. The Car has had a bare metal respray (with full photographic evidence of all work carried out) Interior is original. Work carried out includes new A pillars, new sills, new top plates. new rear arches, the engine has had a top end rebuild, valves reground new camshaft, new clutch fitted. Front suspension renewed, new shocks, track control arms, track rod ends, steering gators. Brakes renewed, reconditioned front calipers, new shoes and cylinders, new master cylinder, new brake hoses and brake lines. A new vinyl roof. I could go on and on but would run out of page!
There are only 28 1600GTs left in the country so grab a piece of history. The mileage is showing 59307 but i cannot guarantee this but when the head was removed from the engine the cylinder bores had still got the honing marks and no lips on the cylinders.
The car is in excellent condition and comes with 12months Mot but the car is currently SORN.
The car turns heads wherever it goes but i must sell to fund my new project.
