| | A truly outstanding example of this classic sports car; a rare automatic model from late 1962, only 2,533 miles following a complete restoration costing £33,858.45.
Date of first registration 12th December 1962 Historic Vehicle. Four previous private owners; current Hertfordshire owner from 24th August 2001.
RHD V8 Automatic, cylinder capacity 2548cc, chassis number 104104, engine number 97373.Blue glass fibre body including detachable hardtop, beige soft hood and original blue leather upholstery. Wire wheels, heater/demister, cigar lighter, petrol reserve unit and switch, owner’s handbook.
This car was purchased by the previous owner in July 1995 for £10,750 and was then subject to a total nut & bolt restoration between 1995/1998 by ‘Classic Refinishes of Andover’. The original detailed restoration invoices are available which total £33,858.45 and included a replacement chassis and rebuilt engine and transmission.
Modifications include rack & pinion steering, panhard rod, electric fan, electronic ignition, new hood & tonneau cover.
Current MOT certificate issued 10th January 2012 at odometer reading 10,849 [total 110,849 from new] MOT certificates from 1971.
