This very sharp Triumph Stag was first registered on the 11th July 1972 in West Yorkshire. RWT 295K is a very early tax exempt MKI model which was ordered new with manual transmission and no overdrive.
Overall the car appears very original with a delightful, honest interior with almost 40 year old carpets still in good order. The seats are also in smart, original condition and the overall feel of the car points towards the mileage of 42,000 been genuine. Whilst we cannot guarantee the mileage, we can see the car has clearly not had a difficult life and looks fresh and well cared for. With the car are MOT certificates dating back to 1997 at 21,146 miles. The bodywork and paint are exceptionally good suggesting the car has had some restoration work, perhaps during the 1990's.
On the road the car performs superbly with a beautiful original engine and strong, smooth four speed gearbox. The Stag handles superbly and was driven to us from Holyhead in Wales. The last owner bought the car from us over one year ago and has enjoyed covering around 1000 miles. The car has driven here with no problem and performed perfectly.
The Stag is sold with the original factory hard top in very good condition, brand new blue soft top, MOT certificates, Triumph brochure, handbook and a full 12 months MOT.
