Landrover Series 3 with 200TDi rebuild - RUN 194S SOLD (1978) | | |
| | I had my 1978 landrover professionally rebuilt in 2009 and have had 3 years trouble free enjoyment. The rebuild included a galvanised chassis, overhauled 200tdi diesel engine, rebuilt gearboxes and transmission, overdrive, new springs and shock absorbers, new fuel tank, new radiator and hoses etc, new brakes, copper brake pipes, new tyres, new 'discovery type' sliding windows and wing mirrors, new clutch and cylinder parts, new lights, new rear wiring harness, tow hitch and electrics, all galvanised parts including windscreen surrounds were re-plated, new doors and door tops, new rear door, new outer panels, complete re-spray inside and out in beautiful heritage green with limestone roof top, new carpets sets, new luxury seats, rear bench seats, etc. Basically a fully sorted Series 3 with the advantage of a very economical diesel engine.
