As you can see not perfect but a great solid little car
I recently had her serviced and tuned by Day and White at Brands Hatch --we fitted new brake calipers and pads, new shocks on the front and bushes. The car has a stainless exhaust and sounds great with that raspy engine note. Original mint pair of super oscars that operate on the main beam switch but can also be switched off. New MOT till June 2013. The interior is very good, no tears or rips in the comfortable seats. The car starts and stops perfectly and I am selling as I just don`t get time to use her. Attracts tons of interest and finding increasingly hard to find these days --especially in the original black paint. The webasto roof could do with some maintenance from an appearance point of view but is 100% waterproof. I took these pictures after a very wet trip to Goodwood breakfast club a few weeks ago and not a drip, hickup or problem on the trip--a great reliable and solid car.
The body is solid other than some minor surface rust near the rear window. Under the car the floor is solid, as are the sills, wings etc . Day and White were impressed with how solid she was so obviously cared for all her life
I have tons of history, 17 old MOT`S , invoices from Omicron and John Waley for almost everything new --suspension, electrics, panels, window rubbers, dash work etc --the list goes on and on so if your looking for a car to get in and drive with minor cosmetics that could be worked on at a later date its a great little thing.
Original handbook
I have the original bumpers and rear fog light for the car. The stickers may not be to your taste but they will peel off easily leaving the car original.
I forgot to mention that I have had the alloys refurbished. As they are magnesium, I had them soda blasted and painted then laquered--they are as good as they get --not a blemish in sight--I had all five done and also had new tyres put on.
