Simson Scwalbe KR51/1 For Sale (1971)Hi Everyone,
It's time to move onto my next project so this newly restored Simson is for sale.It has just been taxed ( Historic vehicle..so free tax ) and tested after a complete nut and bolt restoration with every conceivable item either cleaned,polished,sprayed or replaced.The frame and body were blasted and sprayed;The engine has been rebuilt with new bearings,gaskets and seals throughout and the casings polished.Both wheels have been rebuilt with new spokes and the rims and hubs polished.New parts include ALL the cables,new bulbs, new front and rear light lenses and ignition switch and speedometer.The bike is how it left the factory including the indicators and mirrors with the exception of the colour scheme which has been changed from a mucky mustard to a more period blue/white.This Simson is probably the best in the UK/Ireland, and the restoration cost more than the sale price !They seldom come up for sale in this conditio,It would make an excellent show bike or weekend runabout.Iam located very close to Belfast with easy links to Belfast City airport or Belfast/Larne ferry port.Please call for more info or carriage costs to GB..No time wasters or tyre kickers PLEASE.
