Humber Sceptre 1967 - Very rare Manual - L@@K For SaleHere is a Very Rare Manual 1967 Humber Sceptre , There is believed to be only 300 cars in this model/shape left and out of them only 12 are manual plus out of the 12 only 8 are on the road ! Its in lovely condition and its 4 speed manual plus it has overdrive on steering column for 3rd and 4th gear . Its had a full overhaul including full engine rebuild with unleaded head , full uprated suspension and disc brakes etc plus new adjustable shocks . Its got long mot and tax plus of course its tax exempt so tax is free . Ive got all paperwork plus folders full on the car etc here . Its got nice alloy wheels plus all good tyres . I've done car shows all over for many years with different cars but you just don't see these and if any ever do come about they are normally automatic . On the internet there is a site that tell you how many cars are left in a particular make / model & spec and that shows there are only 12 of these in manual left registered and half of them are off road declared sorn. Humber introduced this luxurious Sceptre model to top the new "Arrow" range launched by the Rootes Group in 1967. The Arrow range comprised of the a variety of saloon and estate models badged and trimmed as Hillmans and Singers, The Sceptre used some twin-carb 1725cc engines and other mechanical parts from the Hillman Hunter. Externally the Sceptre featured quad headlamps, a traditional chrome grille (as scaled down version of the old Humber design) and other "luxuries" such as twin reversing lights. Inside the Humber featured a beautiful burr walnut fascia and comfortable seats trimmed in hard wearing vinyl material. The Humber Sceptre proved to be a popular model and with retiring executives , It continued until 1976 when it and the Humber marque were discontinued. This car is nearly 46 years old and very lovely looking for its age as the pictures show and it turns heads everywhere it goes and gets lots of attention in shows . Its very solid underneath and bodywork shines beautiful once washed & polished ! The interior plus headlining and dashboard etc is all in lovely condition but the front seats have been changed for more comfy ones but the seats can be got easy and put back to original no problem however the ones fitted go nice with the car ! I'm open to very realistic cash offers , I'm also really in to classic cars /cars/caravans /or a large 5/6 birth caravan or camper so try me you never know !
