Triumph TR6 - 125BHP UK Car with Overdrive For Sale (1975)
We sold this superb driving UK specification 125BHP model TR6 to one of our regular customers in Cumbria back in 2007 and more recently to a regular customer in South Yorkshire. This TR6 is a home market car with overdrive and has been to known to us for many years. The TR6 is ideal for regular use and long distance touring and has covered around 60,000 miles in the past seventeen years.
HEW928N was subject of a major restoration in 1994/1995 and comes with substantial paperwork and photographs of the restoration. Since rebuild the car has had substantial use and still presents very well. The bodywork is sharp and the paintwork of a high standard. The upholstery is in superb order and the hood in excellent condition. The chrome work is bright, the wheels excellent and the engine bay nicely detailed and ideal for shows.
Driving the car is a real pleasure with a strong powerful engine and a superb gearbox. The car has been used to long distance touring so has proven reliability. The TR can be driven with confidence and has excellent performance and sharp handling and braking. We have driven the car here from South Yorkshire and it performed perfectly.
