Austin Healey in Original Golden Beige LHD Extremely Rare For Sale (1967) | | |
| Border Reivers are delighted to offer this beautiful 1967 Austin Healey 3000 MK3 for your consideration. This was the run out colour for the last 551 Healeys produced, metallic Golden beige . There was an interior colour choice of Black or Red. 446 LHD cars were built with this combination (black interior)
Amazingly this car has retained its original upholster which is extremely rare.
Several features have been written of late, on these rare cars in the British Healey mag (Rev Counter).
This car was delivered to the BMC dealer in Hamilton,Canada on the 11 of December 1967, therefore making it one of the last Healeys built, perhaps the last Canadian Healey Registered. During its life the car ended up in Florida & then Texas before being repatriated to the UK this year. This car wants for nothing, It has a lovely patina and looks fantastic,drives as it should & has all the typical big Healey trates .
This model is the most desirable & collectible with its relative easy of use i.e wind-up windows,overdrive,pull up hood.wrap around laminated windscreen,Adjustable steering column & the lovely wooden dash. Now in this super rare colour, making it the must have for any Healey Enthusiast.
The car is with us now and all european duties have been paid. The Pictures tell the story. The Chrome wire wheels really complement the Golden coach-work.
Drivers hand book, British Motor Heritage certificate,Full tonneau,Half tonneau (hood cover), original jack, etc are all present.
