for sale, escort mk3 cabriolet 1.6i NOT xr3i (but the same thing) red, 120k+, looks all orignal metal, had no weldicg, soild inner wing, outer wing and rear arches, solid bonet. xr bumpers and lower spoilers, roof in excellent condition inside and outside, no rips tears or stains. seats all match but showing their age now, whole car showing its age, original clover leaf wheels, ss back box only, not lowered, no hols cut in metal parcel shelf, dash is cracked as all mk3s but the rest is very good, red paint has fadded, happens with most red paint pigment breaks down, immobiliser fitted, two keys, one key all locks!!! battery tray very good but abit crispy as most mk3s, fuse box area solid, very good front door cards no holes cut, locking glove box. spares or repair cam belt snapped after water pump change, needs new thermo swith. please remember this is 28 years old and has age related marks i.e small dents and scuffs. under side sills and chasis rails all solid. very very good base! no mot or tax, new v5 in my name, no battery or ignition coil but 2 in the boot as spares. will need trailering. steering wheel is somewhere and will come with a streering wheel. please come and view so you know what you are getting. could only see 2 bits of rust on slam panel and next to rear wheel. this will need trailering away. car is in Grays, Essex RM17. more pics cane be found here http://s13.photobucket.com/albums/a287/scornmyeyes/escort%20cabriolet/
