LAND ROVER LIGHTWEIGHT 24V FFR SOLD (1984) | | |
| | For sale a 1985 Lightweight Land Rover 24v FFR 2.25L Petrol engine.
This entered service in February 1985 & was disposed of in September 1993.
There have been 6 former keepers since its disposal and it currently shows approximatley 63,500 miles on the clock.
The MOT is until the end of July 2013 & it is taxed until the 31st July 2013.
Since I purchased it 2 years ago from John Brown Landrover in Yorkshire, I have only covered 1,000 miles.
Good orignal Lightweight - some history (ex-RAF Shawbury & Swinderby) and it is currently painted in the standard issue Nato Green.
Split tailgate with pioneer tools, Nato towing hitch, ammo box in rear for additional storage along with 4 lap seat belts for the rear passengers.
It retains the bulkhead bar & has had a weber carb conversion. I purchased it with new canvass which has not faded and still looks like new.
New project beckons and £2,995 buys you an authentic 24v Lightweight in a very orignal condtion.
