| 1974 Triumph GT6 Mark 111 For Sale (C37269) | | | This GT6 has been owned by me for 12 years and has been maintained regardless of cost. It generally does about 1000 miles a year, but in the last year has only covered a few hundred. The car is one of the last built – about 250 from the end of the line.
It is Taxed to the end of August and MOT'd to April 2009 - she is ready for summer motoring.
Good bits:
Recent new carpets, reconditioned dif, mechanically the car is good, interior good, all instruments work and the tyres are recent. Stainless steel exhaust, Sun roof, Just been serviced. New oil cooler along with the spin off oil filter. Overdrive.
Over-wintered in a carcoon (inflatable bubble with an absolute moisture filter, so the car has sat in the dry)
The only two downsides are there is rust on the front wheel arches and you would need to get this done if you want to bring it back to condition 1. There are also a couple of tares on the fabric roof – each a few inches - but these are covered with tape at the moment to keep out the weather. Apart from that there are no other known faults.
I am selling the car as after 12 years I fancy something a bit different, and indeed have just bought a jag, so this one will have to go! The car is priced to sell at £3,500
